Dark scrolls and golden highlights
On this version, the chain is black and the steel has a black and gold patina that makes the edges gleam. The eight arms spring from the central stem like a sheaf, dip down and then curl back into interlaced loops; metal leaves are set along the curves. At the bottom, a ribbed ring holds the bundle together. The silhouette is that of the ivory version, with a stronger contrast.
Bulbs, dimming, recommended rooms
The eight E14 lampholders take candle bulbs of up to 60 W each, to be bought separately. To make the most of a dimmer, choose dimmable bulbs. With its IP20 rating, this chandelier is suitable for dry rooms only: living room, dining room, hallway.
Heights and fixing
The light fitting alone is 53 cm high; including the chain, the total height can reach 147 cm, which is useful under the ceiling of an older house. Conversion to a semi-flush ceiling light remains possible. Its weight of 5.53 kg requires fixing to a load-bearing element, and it must be wired with an earth connection (Class I). Place it in the centre of the table, with the bottom of the candle holders 65 to 75 cm above the tabletop.
