About this light

A bistro pendant light in steel with an aged bronze finish, the Provence hangs a 37 cm dark brown cone on a cable from a small ceiling rose. Its matt shade suits the dark wood, brick or black metal of a workshop-style kitchen. It casts light downwards with an E27 bulb and is light enough for a plasterboard ceiling.

Description

Bronze tone, workshop lamp profile

The flared steel cone has an aged bronze patina, brown and without shine. A round lampholder in the same finish connects it to the twisted cable, then to a flat ceiling rose. There is no mechanism here: the lamp hangs straight down from its cable, with no pulley or counterweight.

Light and bulb

The E27 lampholder takes a maximum of 60 W; the bulb is not included. Dimmer compatible. Choose a warm white 2700 K LED: with the dark metal, a cool tone would make the whole look harsh. IP20 rating, so for use indoors in dry spaces.

Useful dimensions

The cone measures 23 cm high and 37 cm in diameter; including the cable, the pendant light can be adjusted from 28 cm at its shortest to 200 cm at its longest. It weighs 1.62 kg. In a hallway or entrance, keep the bottom of the cone more than 2 m above the floor so you can walk beneath it comfortably.
