About this light

This fringed acid-etched glass pendant light is inspired by a Victorian design: a frosted glass dome engraved with a frieze, edged with strands of glass beads that catch the light. A small cylindrical antique brass piece connects it to the chain. At 25 cm in diameter, it suits a hallway, a landing or a reading corner.

Description

Engraved dome and glass fringe

The hemispherical lampshade is made of acid-frosted glass, with a frieze of engraved motifs near the edge. Below this edge hang fringes made of strands of glass beads in alternating lengths, which the light passes through. At the top, a small metal cylinder in an antique brass finish holds the chain.

An E27 bulb

The E27 lampholder accepts a bulb of up to 100 W, to be purchased separately. The light fitting is compatible with a dimmer, with a compatible bulb. A clear 2700 K LED shows off the fringes, while the frosted glass prevents glare. IP20: for use indoors in dry areas.

Dimensions

The dome is 25 cm in diameter and the light fitting weighs just 1.2 kg. In a corridor or hallway, leave a clearance of about 2 m beneath the fringes; above a console table, hang it lower to light the tabletop.
