About this light

8-arm chandelier from the Maypole range, in satin silver metal. The candle holders form a wide ring 60 cm in diameter, carried by slender arms that flare out from the top. The silver-grey shade, more understated than chrome, suits a light-toned dining room or a spacious living room.

Description

A ring of silver candle holders

Eight candle-sleeve cups are spaced around the perimeter, each at the end of a curved arm. The arms gather in a bundle beneath a turned collar, then open out like the ribs of an umbrella. Arcs of metal rod link them in pairs and draw the eye back to a central finial topped with a ring.

Eight E14 bulbs required

The eight E14 lampholders take bulbs of up to 60 W, not included in the package. Eight light sources spread over 60 cm provide general lighting for the whole room; with a dimmer, which this light accepts, you can lower the brightness for dinner. In that case, choose dimmable bulbs. IP20: for rooms free of damp.

Dimensions and fixing

The body of the chandelier is 50 cm high; including the chain, the total height reaches 120 cm. At 2.6 kg, a standard, properly plugged fixing is sufficient. Above a table, leave 65 to 75 cm between the lowest cups and the tabletop, and choose a table at least one metre wide to balance the ring.
