About this light

The larger version of the Domas, this 40 cm diameter copper dome pendant light works as the main light above a dining table. Its rounded metal lampshade in a copper finish conceals the bulb, while the white interior casts a softer light onto the tabletop. The E27 lampholder lets you choose your own bulb.

Description

An open 40 cm globe

The rounded lampshade narrows towards its lower edge and forms almost a ball, open at the bottom. Its copper-finish exterior contrasts with the white painted interior. A tube in the same shade extends the dome up to the ceiling.

E27 bulb and light level adjusted with a dimmer

Use an E27 bulb of 60 W maximum, not supplied with the light fitting. To lower the light in the evening, pair a dimmer with an LED marked as dimmable. Class I and IP20: earth connection required and suitable for dry rooms only.

Weight and proportions

At 2.4 kg, twice the weight of the smaller version, this dome needs a solid fixing point in the ceiling. The total height reaches 155 cm, including the cable. Its diameter suits a table 60 to 80 cm wide; hang the edge of the dome 65-75 cm above the tabletop.
