About this light

Antique brass picture light made up of a rectangular backplate, an angled arm and a 36 cm horizontal light bar. It is fixed above a frame, a mirror or a bookshelf to light it from the front. Its integrated LED gives a warm white light, softer than neutral white on a canvas or an old print.

Description

Straight lines and patinated brass

The wall backplate, the square-section arm and the bar are made of metal in an antique brass finish, a patinated golden shade with a brushed look. The arm extends diagonally from the backplate and holds the bar horizontally, parallel to the wall. The bar is fixed to its arm; it is the arm that pivots at its base, which changes the angle at which the light reaches the picture.

A 614 lm warm white LED bar

Seven integrated LEDs, supplied, are lined up in the bar. They give 614 lm at 3000 K, enough to light a canvas or a bookcase clearly, or to serve as a reading light in the evening. The wall light has its own switch; the brightness cannot be varied. IP20: for dry living spaces.

Positioning above a frame

At 36 cm wide, 16 cm high and projecting 14 cm, it suits medium-sized pictures. Centre the backplate on the axis of the frame, a few centimetres above its upper edge, and plan a cable outlet at that spot. It weighs 0.4 kg.
