Satin silver picture light with 2 E14 bulbs, gooseneck arm

Teardrop backplate and swivelling cylinder

The wall plate is shaped like a domed teardrop, from which a slim gooseneck arm extends. At the end of the arm, a ball-joint mechanism swivels the light cylinder, according to the manufacturer's text. The straight, smooth tube conceals the two bulbs. The matt satin silver finish stays discreet on a light wall. A pull cord ending in a white tip hangs below the backplate.

Two E14 lampholders, bulbs not included

The wall light takes two E14 bulbs of 25 W each, not supplied. It can be used with a dimmer: in that case, choose dimmable E14 bulbs. A 2700 K LED lights the canvas while giving off little heat. IP20 rating: living room, bedroom or study, but not damp rooms.

Size and placement

The cylinder is 35 cm wide and the light is 13 cm high; it projects 15 cm and weighs 0.5 kg. This size suits a picture slightly less than twice as wide as the light. Place it in the centre, just above the frame, and keep the pull cord within reach.
