Chawton black picture light, 4 lights, 65.2 cm reflector

Matt black steel, faceted lines

The wall plate, arms and reflector all have the same matt black finish. The polygonal reflector hides the four bulbs and directs the light downwards. The arm joints lock with thumbscrews: tilt the reflector towards the artwork, then tighten. On a white wall, the black silhouette reads as a graphic line above the frame.

Lighting and dimming

Four E14 lampholders, 40 W maximum each, supplied without bulbs. LED and low-energy bulbs are permitted. The wall light is compatible with a dimmer, provided dimmable bulbs are used. Its IP20 rating limits it to rooms protected from moisture: living room, hallway, study, bedroom.

Positioning above the frame

Allow for 65.2 cm in width, 11.9 cm in height and 18.6 cm of projection, with a weight of 1.58 kg. Centre it on the painting, just above the top edge of the frame, and check that the cable outlet falls behind the wall plate. The fitting is Class I, with an earth wire.
