Chawton 2-light picture light in antique brass, 40.2 cm

Old-gold patina and cut facets

The steel is finished in antique brass, a softened gold that avoids harsh reflections. The reflector forms a polygon in cross-section: sloping front face, crisp edges, open underside. Two short arms connect it to a rectangular backplate with moulding; each joint is tightened with a thumbscrew.

Two bulbs for a medium format

Two E14 lampholders, 40 W maximum each, bulbs not included. LED and low-energy bulbs are suitable; with dimmable bulbs, the wall light can be connected to a dimmer. It also works as a reading light above a bed or an armchair. IP20, so for dry rooms in the home.

Choosing its position

At 40.2 cm wide, it suits a frame of roughly 60 to 80 cm. It is 11.9 cm high, projects 18.6 cm and weighs 1.26 kg. Centre the backplate above the frame, a few centimetres up. Class I appliance: must be earthed.
