Hilton chrome wall light, white fabric lampshade and sandblasted glass

Chrome stem and flared lampshade

The chrome-plated metal structure echoes the design of a table lamp: a round backplate on the wall, a horizontal arm, then a straight stem supporting the lampshade. The white fabric shade widens towards the bottom. Its underside is closed by a sandblasted glass diffuser, which hides the bulb when you walk past or are lying down.

Soft G9 lighting

The light source is a small 40 W G9 bulb, supplied with the wall light. The light passes through the fabric, which softens it, while the sandblasted glass underneath lights the wall and furniture placed below. It is an accent light rather than a reading lamp. IP20: dry rooms only; in a bathroom, above the mirror and away from splashes.

Size and installation

It is 26 cm high and 18 cm wide, projects 22 cm from the wall and weighs 0.7 kg. A pair on either side of a bed or sofa creates symmetry. In a living room, place the bottom of the lampshade at about 1.60 m from the floor; at a bedhead, a little lower, to keep the light at face level when sitting up.
