A half-sphere of faceted crystals

The body of the Calypso is a domed shape, wider than it is tall, lined with polished crystals arranged in vertical rows. Each one is cut as a pyramid, like an upholstery stud, and catches the light at a different angle. The frame is chrome-plated metal with glass elements; it almost disappears behind the crystal.

Two G9 bulbs and plenty of reflections

Inside, two G9 lampholders of 40 W maximum each, with their original bulbs. The light does not come out as a beam: it passes through the facets, the wall becomes covered in points of light and the wall light itself becomes the illuminated object. When replacing, a clear, non-frosted G9 LED retains this sparkle. IP20: for living areas, not for bathrooms or wet rooms.

Size and installation

17.5 cm high, 25 cm wide, 14 cm deep and 1.42 kg. Fitted as a pair either side of a mirror or a headboard, or in a row along a hallway, position it at around 1.70 m from the floor so that your eye does not fall on the bulbs from below.
