Black fabric lined in gold, gooseneck
The slightly conical lampshade is a gold film covered with black fabric: the lining is visible from below and tints the light. It is carried by a black metal stem that comes out of a rectangular backplate. Below it, a flexible tube ends in a small LED head. The Nordik collection also includes matching pendant lights, floor lamps and table lamps.
Two light sources for two uses
The lampshade takes an E14 bulb of 40 W maximum; the reading light works with an integrated 100 lm LED in 3000 K. A switch controls the two light sources separately. The light passing through the fabric remains soft and subdued, while the reading light is focused on a single point, without disturbing the person next to you. IP20 rating: bedroom, living room or study, but not for damp rooms. Class I.
Fitting at the head of the bed
At 48 cm high, 18 cm wide and projecting 21 cm, and weighing 0.63 kg, it is easy to fix. Position the backplate so that the bottom of the lampshade sits slightly above your head when you are sitting up against the bed, then bend the gooseneck towards the pages.
