Straight lines and transparent glass
A rectangular polished chrome backplate serves as the back. Square-section rods, vertical and horizontal, connect it to the clear glass cylinder, held in place by two chrome rings. At the centre, a chrome sleeve carries the lampholder, visible through the glass: the choice of bulb therefore matters to the final look.
A bulb to choose with care
The E14 lampholder accepts up to 60 W; no bulb is supplied, and the brightness can be adjusted with a dimmer when using a dimmable bulb. As the glass is transparent, a 2700 K LED filament flame bulb remains pleasing to look at and recalls a candle. The light spreads in all directions and illuminates the wall as much as the passageway. IP20 rating: hallway, entrance, living room or bedroom, in a dry indoor setting.
29 cm high by 7 cm wide
The wall light takes up very little width, 7 cm, for a height of 29 cm and a projection of 15 cm. It weighs 0.7 kg and is connected with an earth wire (Class I). In a hallway, position it at about 1.70 m from the floor; repeated every two or three metres, it gives rhythm to a long wall. As a pair, it also frames a door or a mirror.
