Sardo wall light in black steel and smoked glass, E27 lampholder

Mirrored smoked glass on black steel

All the metalwork (round wall plate, arm, cylindrical body) is in matt black steel. The diffuser is a smoked glass cylinder with silvery reflections, screwed onto the body with two small side screws. Switched off, the wall light plays on reflections; lit, the glass darkens and the outline of the bulb appears.

Filtered light, bulb not included

Smoked glass holds back a good part of the light: the wall light serves as ambient lighting rather than main lighting. It takes an E27 cap bulb of up to 40 W, not supplied. A clear filament LED shows the filament better through the glass. Its IP20 rating limits it to rooms free of moisture.

Dimensions and mounting height

At 29 cm high and 13 cm wide, it fits on a narrow stretch of wall, between two doors or beside an entrance mirror. Allow 1.60 to 1.80 m from the floor for the fixing, and line up several wall lights at the same height along a corridor.
