About this light

This 3-light chrome crystal ceiling light takes the shape of a bowl: rows of clear crystal drops hang from a chrome ring and meet beneath a central teardrop. A cylindrical stem holds it slightly away from the ceiling, giving a total height of 28 cm and a diameter of 40 cm. It suits a medium-sized living room, bedroom or hallway and takes three E14 bulbs.

Description

A crystal bowl beneath a chrome ring

The structure is made of chrome-plated metal: a round ceiling plate, a short stem and a 40 cm circle that carries the rows of clear crystal. The faceted-cut drops form a rounded bowl finished with a small pendant. When lit, they cast reflections across the ceiling and walls.

Three E14 caps, dimmable

The light takes three E14 bulbs of up to 40 W each, sold separately. It is dimmable: with a dimmer and dimmable bulbs, it moves from full room lighting to a soft, subdued glow. Choose clear 2700 K LED bulbs to make the crystal sparkle. IP20 rating, so dry rooms only. Class I, must be earthed.

Semi-flush, 28 cm below the ceiling

At 28 cm high, it needs a ceiling of at least 2.40 m in a room you walk through; above a bed or a coffee table, this is not an issue. Its 1.5 kg weight is light enough for a standard ceiling fixing. Place it in the centre of the room to spread the reflections evenly.
