Penn Station ceiling light in western bronze, clear glass, 1 x E27

Western bronze finish and brass details

Two curved metal arms extend from a round ceiling rose and grip a ring set on the rim of the glass. In the photo, the dark bronze shade leans towards chocolate brown, and the side clamping knobs stand out in gold. The bowl is made of transparent glass, flared and shallow; according to the manufacturer, the structure is steel.

Direct light from an exposed bulb

The light fitting takes one E27 bulb of up to 60 W, to be purchased separately. The glass filters nothing: a clear filament LED gives the vintage effect shown in the photo, while an opal bulb reduces glare when you look up. The brightness can be adjusted with a dimmer and a dimmable bulb. IP20: for dry indoor use only.

Dimensions and fixing

Allow 26.7 cm between the ceiling and the bottom of the glass, with a width of 33 cm. Under a 2.40 m ceiling, this leaves more than 2 m of clearance. Weighing 3.24 kg, it must be fixed to a ceiling able to bear this weight, with fixings chosen to suit the material. Class I: the earth wire must be connected.
