About this light

This 10-light crystal ceiling light from the Orion range forms a ring of clear crystal chains hanging from a round chrome plate, with a cascade of drops falling through the centre. Description

Ring of crystals and central drop

A circular plate with a mirror finish serves as the base. All around it, strings of crystals are draped in garlands, forming an open basket shape. In the middle, a bundle of longer pendants tapers to a crystal point, marking the axis of the light over a height of 32 cm.

Ten G4 sources in warm white

The ten 1.5 W G4 bulbs are included and together give 797 lumens, in a warm white of 3000 K. This model is not designed for dimming: it is switched on and off at the wall switch, with no brightness adjustment. IP20 rating, so for dry rooms only. The light is Class II, double insulated: no earth wire is required.

Fitting a 4.9 kg ceiling light

Allow 49 cm in diameter at the ceiling and a 32 cm drop: under a 2.40 m clearance, there is still comfortable headroom in a bedroom or living room. The 4.9 kg weight requires fixings suited to your ceiling; in a dining room, centre it above the table.
