About this light

A round black aluminium LED surface-mounted spotlight, the Nitro is a small matt cylinder 12.5 cm high, fixed directly to the ceiling. Its opening reveals a dark chrome reflector that directs the light downwards. The 15 W LED is integrated and supplied. On a light ceiling, the black makes a graphic dot above a table or counter.

Description

Matt black tube and chrome reflector

The body is a black-painted aluminium cylinder, 9 cm in diameter, with no added decorative parts. Only the lower edge changes material: a reflector with metallic highlights that catches the light when the spotlight is on. Several Nitro lights in a row, or mixed with the square version, make up a ceiling arrangement.

Directed light, LED included

The 15 W LED is part of the light fitting: there is no bulb to choose. It delivers 1400 lm in a 3000 K colour temperature. The light is cast downwards in a cone, which suits lighting a specific area rather than a whole room. With its IP20 rating, this spotlight is for rooms without humidity, such as the living room, hallway or kitchen.

Ceiling height to allow for

It projects 12.5 cm down. Under a 2.50 m ceiling, it remains discreet; above an island, centre it along the length of the worktop.
