About this light

A floor lamp in brass-finish metal, the Imperia takes its cue from the classic living-room lamp: a slim stem, a ball and downward-turned rings, and a white pleated fabric lampshade. At 149 cm tall, it sits neatly beside an armchair, a sofa or in the corner of a bedroom. The switch is on the cable.

Description

Turned brass stem, fabric lampshade

The brass-coloured metal base is worked like a piece of turned woodwork: a round stepped foot, a ball swelling at the lower part, successive rings, then a slim rod rising to a small ornament beneath the lampshade. The white pleated fabric lampshade takes the shape of a truncated cone, 30 cm in diameter. Light passes through the fabric and also shines out clearly at the top and the bottom.

E27 bulb and use

A single E27 lampholder, for a bulb of up to 60 W, to be purchased separately. For reading, a warm white LED gives a comfortable light beneath the white fabric. The cable switch can be operated by foot or by hand. IP20: for dry rooms only. Class II.

Lightweight size

149 cm tall and weighing 2.5 kg: it moves from room to room with ease. Placed next to an armchair, the bottom of the lampshade sits above the shoulder of a seated person. The 2 m transparent cable remains barely visible.
