About this light

This grey tripod lamp, the all-grey industrial version of the Franklin, looks like a small workshop spotlight: the sandy grey reflector and legs in the same shade form a tone-on-tone set, lifted only by the silver fork. At 51.5 cm high, this lamp suits a desk or side table, in a room with neutral, concrete or light wood tones.

Description

Tone-on-tone sandy grey

The metal cone, with its matt sandy texture, ends in a rim pierced with small slots that let a thin line of light filter through. Its inner face is white. The satin metal fork and the fixing knob on the side are the only shiny points; the tripod picks up the grey of the reflector, which lightens the silhouette against a pale wall.

Bulb and lighting

The E27 lampholder accepts up to 60 W; the bulb is not included. A pear-shaped or filament LED bulb is suitable, in warm white for a living room, more neutral for a workstation. The light is emitted as a beam towards the front. With its IP20 rating, the lamp is for indoor use only, in a room free from damp.

Space required

A 27 cm by 25 cm tripod and a reflector 16.5 cm in diameter: the lamp fits on a fairly deep bedside table or in the corner of a desk. Position it so that the mouth of the reflector does not point at your eyes.
