Description

Antique brass stem and linen drum

The round metal base carries a long, slim stem in an antique brass finish. Beneath the lampshade, the top of the stand widens into a cone and incorporates a piece of clear acrylic that reflects the light. The cylindrical cream linen drum echoes the one on the Drum table lamp from the same range.

An E27 bulb for supplementary lighting

The E27 lampholder takes a bulb of up to 60 W, to be purchased separately: an LED bulb gives ambient lighting beside a sofa. Its intensity is fixed; opt for a warm white bulb. With an IP20 rating, it belongs in a living room or bedroom, away from any water vapour. Its Class II rating means no earthed socket is required.

Floor footprint

Standing 165 cm high, it is 35 cm wide, the width of the lampshade, and weighs 4 kg. Place it slightly behind an armchair, with the lampshade just above shoulder height, so you can read without glare.
