About this light

A spiral LED lamp: a white silicone tube, lit along its entire length, winds its way up a matt black steel stem set in a round base. Standing 56 cm tall, the Serpent gives 530 lm of warm white light and can be dimmed with its dimmer. It suits a sideboard, a console table or a desk, where its curved line stands out as much when switched off as when lit.

Description

Black stem and silicone ribbon

The structure is made of matt black mild steel: a slim stem with a flat section and a circular base. Along the stem, a white silicone tube follows regular curves, fixed at the top and at the bottom. It is this tube that provides the light, a diffuse glow with no visible point of light.

Integrated 8 W dimmable LED

The light source is an integrated 8 W LED, supplied with the lamp. It gives 530 lm at 2700 K, and a dimmer lets you lower the light late in the evening. IP20 rating: dry indoor use only.

Compact size and weight

It measures 56 cm high with a base of 15 cm by 15 cm and weighs 1.35 kg. Leave a little space around the ribbon so that its shape stays readable, rather than pushing it up against a wall or a pile of books.
