About this light

This white glass globe floor lamp carries its opal globe at the top of two parallel antique brass stems, joined at mid-height. The round base, in the same finish, keeps it steady. Standing 145 cm high, it lights a corner of a dining room or living room with a diffuse glow, without a directed beam.

Description

Two antique brass stems beneath an opal globe

The structure is made of two slim metal stems in an antique brass finish, rising side by side from a round base. A connecting piece joins them around the middle, then one of them ends in a ring on which the globe rests. This opal white glass globe completely conceals the bulb. Depending on the retailer, power is supplied via a black braided cable.

E27 lampholder and ambient light

An E27 bulb, not included, fits inside the globe; the lampholder accepts up to 60 W. The opal glass gives an even light that illuminates the room around the floor lamp rather than a specific spot. For reading, add a reading light. Choose a 2700 K LED globe bulb for a soft result. IP20: dry indoor use only.

145 cm high by 28 cm wide

At 28 cm wide and 5.5 kg, it slips in between a sideboard and a wall or next to an armchair. The globe sits slightly below the eye level of a standing adult. It forms a set with the Sphere table lamp, in the same finish.
