About this light

A ribbed glass wall light on a chrome mount, the Pirita hangs a clear urn-shaped diffuser beneath a swan-neck arm. The vertical ribs of the glass, marked with fine incisions, break up the light of the E14 bulb. At 29 cm high, it frames an entrance mirror or lights a hallway or landing.

Description

Clear glass urn beneath a swan neck

The clear glass diffuser widens below the neck, then narrows towards the bottom, like an urn. Its vertical ribs carry fine incisions that sparkle when switched on. A chrome ring connects it to the swan-neck arm, which is itself fixed to a round chrome backplate.

Exposed bulb, sparkling glass

As the glass is clear, the bulb is visible: an E14 filament LED in warm white gives the most attractive result. It takes a maximum of 40 W, and the bulb is not included. The light passes through the glass on all sides and is broken up by the ribs. With its IP20 rating, the wall light is suitable for dry rooms only.

Dimensions and installation

The wall light measures 29 cm high and 14 cm long. As the glass hangs below the fixing point, position the cable outlet at about 1.80 m from the floor in a hallway, or on either side of an entrance mirror so that the glass sits at eye level.
