Carimi wall light in honey brass with opal glass globe

Honey brass and white glass

This version takes the Carimi design in a honey brass shade, a golden finish applied to the steel of the backplate and the arm. The opal white glass globe takes up most of the volume. The metal stays slim and leaves the sphere in the foreground; the round backplate, in the same finish, hides the junction box.

Which bulb to choose

A single lampholder, supplied without a bulb. A low-wattage warm white LED is enough for ambient light; the milky glass hides the filament. With its IP20 rating, the Carimi is intended for rooms protected from moisture: bedroom, living room, study, hallway.

One wall light on each side of the bed

The light measures 20.5 cm high, 22 cm wide and 15 cm long. At the head of a bed, plan one wall light on each side, centred above the bedside table, at about 1.20 to 1.40 m from the floor for comfortable reading. On a living room wall, fit it instead between 1.60 and 1.80 m.
