How many spotlights do I need and how far apart should they be?
As a general rule, space recessed spotlights 1 to 1.5 m apart and position them around 50 cm from the walls. The exact number depends on the light output of each spotlight and how the room is used.
How do I install a recessed spotlight in a suspended ceiling?
Check the cut-out diameter and recess depth required on the product page. If the spotlight sits beneath insulation, protect it with a suitable cover. Always switch off the power before installation. See our recessed spotlights.
GU10 spotlight or integrated LED: which should I choose?
A spotlight with a GU10 base makes it easy to change the bulb and its colour temperature. An integrated LED spotlight is more compact and lasts a long time, but the light source cannot always be replaced.
Which spotlight is suitable for a bathroom?
