Gränsö black crystal ceiling light, 3 lights, 40 cm diameter

Black metal and octagonal drops

A black metal ring holds the glass bowl flush with the ceiling, with no stem in between. The octagonal-cut drops are strung in garlands that cross over to a small black button at the centre. The contrast between the dark frame and the clear glass brings out every facet.

Light broken up by the glass

Three E14 lampholders sit inside the bowl; each accepts a bulb of up to 40 W. Bulbs are not supplied with the light: choose clear LEDs rather than frosted ones to multiply the reflections in the glass. Rated IP21, it withstands water drops falling vertically but is still intended for dry rooms: living room, bedroom, dining room. Class I light fitting, with earth wire.

Low height, 2 kg to support

The 20 cm height leaves plenty of clearance, even in an attic bedroom or a low hallway. The light weighs 2 kg: fix it with a plug suited to the plaster or concrete of your ceiling.
