About this light

Chrome wall light with a swan-neck arm, topped with a clear glass shade shaped like a low bell: a narrow neck, a rounded shoulder, then a skirt that widens towards the bottom. At 33 cm high and 22.2 cm wide, this Congress version adds a rounder volume above a console table, a bedside table or a worktop.

Description

Curved glass beneath a chrome arm

Shiny chrome dresses the oval backplate, its large screws and the crook-shaped curved arm. Beneath the fixing ring, the clear glass takes on the silhouette of a school lamp: narrow at the top, domed at the shoulder, finishing with a slightly flared edge. The bulb remains visible through this globe, which is open at the bottom.

Bulb and lighting

The E27 lampholder takes a bulb of up to 100 W, not included. In LED, a clear filament bulb highlights the transparency of the glass. The light falls onto the wall and onto the furniture placed below. IP20: living room, bedroom or hallway, not for areas exposed to water.

Installation

The projection is 25.4 cm: check that it does not obstruct movement in a narrow passage. The fitting is Class I and requires an earthed connection. On each side of a bed, place the fixing at about 1.60 m from the floor.
